The growing feed-in of renewable energy causes fluctuations in the grid. At the same time, new high-power consumers such as high-power-charging (HPC) infrastructure for electric trucks and buses create extreme load peaks that overwhelm local grids. Expensive, slow grid expansion is often not an economical option.

The solution

PotisBank: the answer for grid stability and power peaks

Grid-scale storage from PotisBank answers these challenges. The systems act as huge power buffers that stabilise the grid and deliver energy on demand. For charging infrastructure that means: the storage charges continuously from the available grid capacity and releases the energy in bundles of up to several megawatts to the charging stations — ultra-fast charging, efficient, scalable and without overloading the grid connection.

Not every project needs liquid cooling. For applications where robustness and simple maintenance come first, the Elecnova ECO series offers the full choice. We supply both classic air-cooled containers (ECO-B20FT3404WS) and modern liquid-cooled variants (ECO-B20FT5015LP). This flexibility lets us match the climatic conditions and load profile of your site exactly — whether in a harsh industrial environment or at the edge of a wind farm.
